College application deadlines are looming and hopefully you don’t still have tons of things to do to complete yours. Sometimes it’s a good idea at this stage to take a step back and a deep breath. When you’ve slaved over an essay or a short answer question for so long, you start to get blind to how it looks and what its saying. It may get difficult to proofread and to remember your message clearly when you feel like you just can’t look at it one more time.

Perhaps this is a good time to get some advice from the experts on last minute ways to polish things up and get the application completed. Perhaps you still have some questions about the schools to which you are applying. Dartmouth’s admissions office has anticipated this and has some last minute offerings to keep you informed and abreast of the process. Some of this advice will apply only to Dartmouth applicants. Some of it will apply to the processes of other schools. In any case, if you are applying to Dartmouth make sure you take advantage of their live online show, The Office Hours.
